Here I am meeting my new family and giving kisses right away. I knew I would love them, Vicki and my new mom Sharon had talked on the phone and Vicki told me how nice they were so I was so excited to meet them.

Spencer is so proud to be the Cavachon of the Month for August and he is especially happy to be the first boy!!!
Spencer was born on April 8, 2008 and he flew to New York on June 12, 2008.

Spencer came home to his mom Sharon, his dad Paul and his two kids Paul and Haleigh.

No, I do not like to take baths, and any chance I get, I jump out of the tub. Everyone is usually soaked and so is the bathroom floor when we are done. That's why Paul is in the tub with me with his clothes on.
Even after all of that, it is so worth giving me a bath though because I smell so good and my fur gets so soft!!!! My mom likes me all fancy when we go somewhere so she can show me off. Everyone adore's me!

My animal family consists of my big brother Twister who is a six year old Border Collie mix and two cats Patrick and Tigger. Here is a picture of me and Twister, taking our doggie nap...As you can see we are great pals.

Spencer likes everyone he meets and no matter where you take him, he acts as if he has been there all of his life. He was the perfect gentleman on both of our family vacations this summer. He never had an accident or even barked at the pet friendly hotel we went to in Connecticut and he was the perfect guest at my in-laws house in the Adirondacks. He especially loved running through the woods and playing with Mac, his 100 lb. yellow lab cousin.

Spencer is the perfect dog. He is compact in size yet he is not a fragile dog who only wants to be held or is fearful of people. He plays with dogs twice his size and takes control! He can sit in your lap and be so cuddly one minute and the next minute he is running through the house dragging toys all over. He does not shed and has the softest hair. We especially love the “punk rocker” look that he has because his hair grows so funny on the top of his head. It’s so cute!!

No matter what we did this summer Spencer just fit right in and made everyone fall in love with him, even those “big dog” lovers who think they don’t like small dogs.
Some of Spencer’s hobbies include: playing tug of war with Twister, playing catch with his kids, going for walks, eating (he eats like a 90lb. dog), giving his family tons of kisses, and snuggling in bed with his mom and dad.
He is the perfect addition to this family and the love of his momma’s life.
